Most race promoters measure their success by how many riders sign up for their races… I measure mine by how many of my racers are able to finish without crying for their mama.
Dan Des Rosiers
Race Director
Our 30 and 60-miler races on June 27 are part of our 3-day stage race, the half and full Ultimate XC Challenge, that can be entered SOLO or as a team, but that can also be entered as a single events. Note that every participant to the stage race will also have their individual standing for each discipline, so pure mountain bikers have an extra chance to win the honours if they team up with a kayaker and a runner.
Some of the best mountain bikers in North America will be racing for the bragging rights and some of the best adventure racers in the world will be coming from all over to see what they can accomplish. All SOLO athletes entering the 3-day race have to submit their credentials to be accepted. Most of them have travelled the world to race and are now up to the challenge. Guess what… They are in for a surprise.
Visit our Stage Race page for more details on this 3-day race.
Mountain Bike Courses
The 50 et 100 km races are limited to 250 athletes (including the racers from the 3-day stage race). The participants in the SOLO 3-day Ultimate XC and teams will have priority. We reserve only 50 spots for athlets willing to enter only the day mountain bike events.
Whether you are doing the 30-miler or the 60-miler, both courses are designed with lots of elevation gain and as technical as we can find. I invite you to join our Forum on the bike series and watch our 2-minute video that will give you a good idea of the terrain that you will encounter during this race.
The 100 km course has more than 2500 meters of climbing and 80% of the course is on Single Tracks. The course is considered technical and the winner should not finish under 6.5 hours.
The best racers should finish the 30-mile course in about 4 hours and the 60-mile course in 7 hours.
Find all the details of the 30 and 60-miler races in our Our Races section up
above.

Cost: $125 for the 60 miler (100 km)
$100 for the 30 miler (50 km)
